We will focus on being active and making healthy choices throughout the school year. As a part of this, I ask that you please send a healthy/healthier snack for your child. Some ideas are: cheese & crackers, beef jerky, mixed nuts, fruits, veggies, half a sandwich, and yogurt (freeze the night before). Please do not send cookies, candy, or chips, and try to stay away from sending donuts, poptarts, and similar items. Individually packaged snacks are preferred to help curb cross-contamination. Your student is encouraged to bring a water bottle for snack time and to have in class each day, too.
